Green Valley Pest Control offers a wide variety of Residential and Commercial services including:
Maintenance Plans - One Time - Preventative - Crawl Space Restorations - Air Duct Cleaning

Maintenance Plans

Once we have erradicated the pest from your home, it is important to continue with a maintenance
service. This service will keep a protective barrier around your home to deny future pests. The
maintenace plan includes monthly, bimonthly, and quarterly services. The frequency of services are
determined by the level of infestation within or around your home. This can be determined by the
type of pest, locations, duration, and conducive conditions. Upon a thorough inspection, your
Technician will determine the maintenance plan that will continue to keep your pest eliminated.
Each maintenace service will include an exterior perimeter application and interior as needed.
Spiders, Rodents, Wasps, House Ants, Carpenter Ants, etc. are recommended for this service.

One Time

Green Valley Pest Control understands that some people are looking for a program in which the
customer decides how often a service is provided. The technician will only come when the customer
calls and sets up an appointment. One time visits are for occasional pest or preventative applications:
Box Elder Beetles, Lady Bugs, Yellow Jackets, Termites, Stored Product Pests, and Carpet Beetles.

Preventative

Green Valley Pest Control provides other services that prevent pest harboraging. These services
include crawl space and attic restorations, trimming back vegetation, rain gutter cleaning,
earth-to-wood contact separation, dry-rot treatments, wood debris and yard waste removal. In
addition, we can provide a protective barrier around your home by treating the foundation from
the exterior and within the crawl space
.

Crawl Space Restorations

A Crawl Space Restoration is needed when at least 30% of the crawl space including insulation,
vapor barrier, foundation, and footings are contaminated with rodent defacation or urination. This
can become a health hazard to the home owner, as the rodent droppings dry, they become air
born, then vaccuumed into the air ducts, and delivered into the home. A crawl space restoration is
the process of removing insulation, vapor barrier and other loose debris from a crawl space due to
rodent (or other vertebrate animal) contamination. By removing the insulation and vapor barrier,
we are eliminating the rodent harborage and communication barrier, making the area less desirable
for existing and future rodent activity. We also remove existing rodent droppings from the
foundation, mudsill, and footers. After cleanup is completed, we go through with a
"fine-toothed-comb" inspecting for any possible rodent entry points that would allow future
contamination. Finally, we install new 6 ml vapor barrier and decontaminate the crawl space with an
anti-microbial fogger. Some benefits of a completed crawl space restoration include: improved air
quality and energy efficiency in the house, and no more future mice, rat, possum, or raccoon activity.
Oftentimes plumbing leaks, dangerous electrical hazards, and wood destroying organisms can be
discovered. These problems are often overlooked, because they are concealed by the insulation.

Dryer Vent Cleaning ............ can prevent fires!

Lint buildup throughout your dryer vent system is one of the leading causes of home fires. Lint traps
can't do it all. Clogged dryer vents can cause slowed drying times. Dryer vent cleaning improves the
safety and efficiency of your dryer installation. As dryer vents become filled with lint and other debris,
drying time increases and can cause the dryer itself to overheat. This increases energy consumption
since the dryer has to run longer to dry your clothes and can also cause fires in the dryer or the dryer
duct. The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports dryer related home fires are on the
increase. CPSC figures show that in 1997 there were 16,800 dryer fires which caused 30 deaths, 430
injuries and 97.3 million dollars in property damage. If you have noticed that your dryer is running
longer than it used to you may need to have the dryer vent cleaned. Some dryer vents are relatively
short and straight and can be cleaned easily by the homeowner, but others aren’t that easy and may
require the use of special tools and equipment. We have tools specifically designed to clean dryer
vents and with these tools we are able to do a thorough job of cleaning even the most difficult
installations. While dryer vents are routinely blocked with lint, rodent nesting is also another frequent
cause of dryer vent blockage and our equipment allows us to remove these blockages as well. Another
problem created by blocked dryer vents serving gas dryers is the possibility of carbon monoxide
seepage into your home. If the dryer is not exhausting properly to the outdoors, carbon monoxide
can back up into the home. Green Valley Pest Control can provide a free inspections of your dry vent.

Rain Gutter Cleaning

Green Valley Pest Control provides rain gutter cleaning. This service consist of debris removal from the
rain gutters and down spouts, if needed. Often, rain gutters are commonly over looked, as pine
needles, leafs, and other debri continue to build. Once the down spout is clogged with debris, the
water flow from the rain can not drain properly, leading to over spill onto the structure. Continuing
over spill can cause excessive moisture and damage to the roofing boards, eaves, and siding. In addition,
can lead to a Carpenter Ant infestation. Depending on the surrounding vegetation of the home, will
determine the services needed to keep your rain gutters clean. Rain gutter cleaning is recommended at
least once a year. Green Valley Pest Control will provide a free inspection of your rain gutters.
